SkipStack is an independent, fan-made web application. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mattel, Inc. Skip-Bo® is a registered trademark of Mattel, Inc. Any references to "Skip-Bo" are used strictly for descriptive purposes under Nominative Fair Use.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing SkipStack.net, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site.
2. Use License & Open Source
The SkipStack Core Engine is provided under its respective open-source license. However, the visual assets (including the Star Logo, Card Art, and UI design) and the proprietary multiplayer infrastructure are owned by SkipStack and may not be reproduced without permission.
3. User Conduct & Fair Play
To keep the game fun for everyone, you agree not to:
- Use automated "bots" or scripts to play multiplayer matches.
- Exploit bugs in the Svelte 5 engine to gain unfair scoring advantages.
- Harass other players through usernames or social features.
4. Disclaimer of Warranty
SkipStack is provided "as is." While we strive for 60FPS performance and a bug-free experience via our Svelte 5 architecture, we make no warranties regarding the uptime or reliability of our PocketBase backend or multiplayer services.
5. Advertising & Third Parties
As noted in our Privacy Policy, SkipStack may display third-party advertisements. We are not responsible for the content or practices of these external advertisers.
Limitation of Liability
In no event shall SkipStack or its developers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on SkipStack's website.
